Stz’uminus Health

The Stz’uminus health department provides band and community members access to basic health, mental wellness and home and community care programs on reserve.

By providing health promotion and prevention programs, we assist members in living healthier, longer lives. We encourage members to take charge of their health through education, information, and learning so they are better equipped to avoid disease and complications of chronic illnesses.

Stz’uminus Alcohol & Drug Program

The National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP) supports Stz’uminus members with their substance use and help them get connected to the supports they need.

We have one NNADAP worker who offers addiction support through one-on-one, family, and/or group counselling. The NNADAP worker connects members with appropriate professionals and resources, including referrals to detox, recovery homes and treatment centres. If a client enters treatment, NNADAP workers continue to support them as they work to maintain sobriety after returning home.

Stz’uminus NNADAP workers are available seven days a week, including nights and weekends.

To make an appointment, please call or email Dan.
