What:
The Stz’uminus Health Centre is delighted to announce the launching of Sleyk’um’ews!
This innovative program (Sleyk’um’ews means “breath of the body”) invites families to learn and grow spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally in a welcoming, supportive environment. Families will join together to become stronger and healthier parents, partners, and community members using traditional Coast Salish values and wisdom, and lots of laughter, to guide the journey. This is a program for families, and that includes: biological, step, adoptive parents, their partners, aunties and uncles, grandparents, parents to be, etc.
Who:
Families involved with MCFD will be given priority admission to the program, but all families are eligible and welcome! Children under age six years old (including children in foster care) attend the program with their families. Children who are in school may attend with their families on school holidays including during summer months.
